Today my sister and I decided to have some fun with the camera outside. I have been waiting for the perfect, breezy day to debut this light new maxi skirt I bought from H&M. I love coral colors for spring, and have been wanting to try the color blocked trend for quite some time!

I'm loving the maxi skirts for spring/summer. A lot of people say, "I can't pull that off," but the maxi skirt is something that once you try you will be sure to love! Pop one on the next time you're shopping. You'll be pleased that you did :)

Great Day Shoot!

Yesterday was such an amazing, fun experience! My on-air inspiration, Virginia Kerr, a host of KMOV's Great Day St. Louis visited with some of the Great Day crew to shoot a segment on Endlessly Chic! I am so honored and excited about this experience. I had a great time in front of the camera; a perfect experience for me as I get ready to graduate with high aspirations of becoming a reporter! 

We had a great time; talking about fashion, bargain shopping finds, and this season's latest trends. Without giving away too much, the segment has a special Mother's Day twist, so stay tuned! I can't wait to share the segment with you all when it airs!

Pleasant Surprises

Sometimes, I forget what I have in my closet, especially when my spring clothes have been cooped up in garment bags in a spare closet all winter. Unpacking clothes from the previous Spring and Summer seasons is always like getting a new gift. I love finding items that I forgot I own, such as this silk cobalt blue top. Sometimes old feels so new!

Beach Blonde

 

{Trina Turk Bathing Suit, TJ Maxx Hat }

One of my favorite things to do in Florida is visit the beach. I love the warm feel of the white sand beneath my toes, and the sparkling reflection of the water. I was so fortunate to have beautiful weather for my stay.

I usually don't wear hats at the beach, but in order to protect my face from the sun I threw on this floppy hat I found at TJ Maxx! What do you think of it?

A very nice man, David saw my Dad and I struggling to get perfect pictures at the beach. David is a professional photographer from Massachusetts, and offered to take my pictures for me! His company is called Shared Vision Photography. He did an exceptional job! Visit David's website to view all of his other beautiful pieces of work!

Ybor City!

 

This past weekend, I spent some time at my Dad's in Tampa, Florida. Our first stop after the airport is always to historic Ybor City, located just northeast of downtown Tampa.

Ybor is an area that was founded in the 1880's by cigar manufacturers. Many Cuban, Italian, and Spanish immigrants populated Ybor at this time.

Today, Ybor is a quaint modern area with historical roots. You can be sure to eat a great meal in Ybor, and buy some fine Cuban cigars! My favorite restaurant is Carmines. They have the best Italian dishes!

Above are some pictures I took while visiting Ybor. La France is my favorite vintage store to stop at! They have the neatest things! I loved the decorative wall of hats!
