If you're like me you probably just woke up and realized, wow spring is here and I need to get fit! I, like other working people don't have a ton of time in the day to dedicate to a real workout regime. Guess what? You don't need it.
Ton's of studies show shorter, more intense workouts are more effective than long ones. Gone are the days when you need to go to the gym for hours, come home - exhausted and don't have much motivation to do anything else.
Let's face it. How long did that last you? A week? Maybe two? You were probably so exhausted from the many hours at the gym, and sick of the fact that you saw little results.
I have found three workouts that have done the job for me. The best part has been, I can do them from home, and each is about 25 minutes in length.
1. T25- A new workout developed by trainer Shaun T of "Hip Hop Abs." T25 is amazing. Just 25 minutes and you really break a sweat. The most important thing, I have been seeing results! The workouts are intense, fast-paced but motivating at the same time. I love them, and often can't wait to get home from work to do them!
2. Turbo Jam- This is a workout that I loved when I was in college. The cardio portion is only 20 minutes, and it's a very dancy, coordinated routine. I always see amazing results with Turbo Jam. This set also has a second disk, and includes a 20 minute abdominal routine.
3. Turbo Fire- Turbo Fire is a high-intensity workout, with the same trainer as Turbo Jam, Chalene Johnston. If you're just starting to get back in shape, this is the good way to do it!
Good luck!

Dots
I was feeling a little polka dot action today, and was happy to find a dress that I haven't worn in a while. Sometimes, it's amazing to just stop and stand in your closet, and pull out pieces that maybe you've only worn once and forgot about. My mom calls it "shopping in my closet!"
I try not to have too many "one hit wonders" a term I use when referring to clothing that I purchase and wear once. Honestly, I was afraid this dress would be one of those pieces, but I'm pleasantly surprised that I've found more uses for this dress than one!

Warby Parker Spectrum Sun Collection
I have always loved the clean, sophisticated look of Warby Parker glasses and shades. There's something about the shapes of the frames that seem to work perfectly for everyone, no matter what shape face you have.
I'm proud to help announce the launch of the Warby Parker Spectrum Sun Collection. These nine shades are the perfect way to keep us thinking of spring and summer!
The best part is, each pair is only $95.00. That part I love.
After reviewing all, I would say my favorites are 2, 6, and 9! I absolutely love the chic look of each of the shades. The shapes and colors are a perfect mix.
The best part about this collection besides the amazing shades is that through the Warby Parker Do Good program, for each pair sold they will donate a pair of glasses to someone in need!
You can check out the new collection here.

St. Patrick's Day Green
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I always love this holiday because it reminds me that spring is on the way! When I was little, I always looked for four leaf clovers in the grass, and every time I saw a rainbow believed there was a pot-of-gold at the end. Whatever your traditions are, make the most of them! I make sure to wear green on this day each year. Today, I chose a military-inspired jacket for a casual look.
What are your favorite ways to celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

Rusty
{Pants: Gap | Jacket: William Rast | Shirt: Gap | Jewelry: Alex & Ani | Watch: MK | Necklace: Vintage | Booties: Nordstrom, similar here}
There's something about rusty buildings that I love. When I found this one to shoot in front of, I thought it was the perfect backdrop for this outfit.
I bought this leather jacket a few years back - last seen here - and I find it goes with mostly anything. There's something soft and sexy about the elephant color of the jacket and booties. Really screams spring to me!
Happy Friday!

Zara Wish List
Unfortunately, I don't live near a Zara store, so the closest I come to finding great goodies is online. I find myself surfing the web for new trends at least once a day, particularly at night when I'm trying to wind-down from the day.
I'm beyond obsessed with neutral colors this spring, but mostly muted pinks and pale blues. Anything leather is alright with me - which is why I love this frilly faux leather skirt!
I'm pretty sure these Zara items will be in my closet at the first sign of spring.
What are some items you need in your closet this spring?

Spring Makeup Tips
I've been feeling pretty drab lately with my winter makeup routine, so I recently paid a visit to the MAC counter to see what they had to say. After sitting in the chair for a few minutes, I realized that I was probably going to walk out of the store with more makeup than I originally anticipated - and I did!
What I learned is that we go through phases and routines, and tend to stick with makeup regimens that work for us. There's nothing wrong with that, but sometimes even just switching up your lip color can make a big difference. Here's my how-to instructions on MY spring makeup!
1. Start with a clean face.
2. Add one pump of MAC Prep + Prime Base Natural Radiance.
3. In a T motion, brush the base on your face.
4. Start with your foundation. I use MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC15.
5. In that same T motion, brush the fluid on your face, making sure to get in all the creases.
6. Add your powder. I use Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Light Plus.
7. If you're like me, you need to pencil in your eyebrows. My brows always look more fresh with a bit of color. For this, I use just a cheap eyebrow pencil from Sephora, but feel free to use any that match your brows.
8. Now it's time to add your blush. I absolutely LOVE my new MAC blush "Azalea in the Afternoon."
9. Stroke the blush starting farther back on your cheekbone. The key with blush is to build it on gradually, not just with one stripe.
10. Now it's time for eyes. For this I used Girlie Satin Eyeshadow. Brush along your lid.
11. Add your crease color. I used Patina Frost.
12. Brush in the crease, and keep building on the color gradually.
13. Mascara is next. MAC False Lashes in Black I used.
14. Top your look off with some lipstick (I used MAC Faux) and you're ready to hit the town!
